Cards Scanner is built to be private. This summary describes how the app handles your information. A full policy will accompany the App Store release; the practices below are accurate today.
When you scan, the app sends a photo of your card to our own server to produce a result. Photos are used only to generate that result and are not stored after processing.
We keep anonymous, non-identifying records of scans (what was scanned and the result) to improve accuracy. These contain no name, device identifier, or account, and are not linked to you.
Any purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We never see your card or payment details.
